Our elementary school flag football league is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization backed by the official NFL Flag league and created to provide a safe, structured, and developmentally appropriate football experience for elementary age boys. The program is designed to introduce and reinforce fundamental football skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and physical fitness.

The league will operate as a seasonal program (fall and/or spring), with teams organized by grade level to ensure fair competition and age-appropriate instruction. Practices and games will be held at local school fields and/or community athletic facilities in coordination with school districts and town recreation departments. Each team will practice once per week and participate in one game per week.

All coaches will be trained volunteers who follow a standardized curriculum focused on skill development, safe play, and positive coaching. Flag football rules will be strictly enforced, with no tackling permitted, age-appropriate field sizes, and modified rules designed to prioritize safety and inclusion. Every participant will receive equal playing time regardless of experience or skill level.

As a nonprofit organization, the league is committed to accessibility and community impact. Registration fees will be structured to cover basic operating costs, and financial assistance will be offered to ensure that all interested children are able to participate. The league will operate under clear codes of conduct for players, coaches, and parents to promote a respectful and supportive environment.

League operations will be overseen by a volunteer board and leadership team responsible for governance, registration, scheduling, coach coordination, equipment management, and communication. Online registration and centralized communication platforms will be used to maintain transparency, organization, and consistent engagement with families.
